Second Semi of 2015 Asian Cup Final Match Preview
The hosts have lost just one game out of their last 5 international matches with one draw. This means they have won three matches out of last five. On the other hand, United Arab Emirates have won same number of games, but with the loss of 2 matches.
Host nation Australia qualified for this round after defeating China PR in quarter final round with a clean sheet of 2–0. Australian defender Trent Sainsbury told to reporters on Sunday “I don’t think the UAE has got the legs to go with us for 90 minutes.”
“As soon as we lose the ball, [we are going to] try and win it back, try and choke them until they are blue. You have got to go for it in this game. You can’t hold back.”
The Newcastle Stadium is said to have seating capacity of more than thirty thousand, but it is calculated that just twenty three thousand fans will be available to witness the second semi final match of 2015 AFC Asian Cup.
UAE got their semi final place after defeating strong team Japan on penalties in quarter final round. With that win, they booked their semi final spot for the first time since 1996.
