Arsenal Vs Hull City Live Online Commentary

Arsene Wenger’s Premier League title hope is a dealt a serious blow when they were defeated by Antonio Conte’s Chelsea. Arsenal sit at 4th spot in the Premier League standings with a 12 point gap against the North London Blues. They were coming after a disastorous 2-1 home loss to Watford in the previous week. This loss was their first home one since the 3-4 defeat to Liverpool on Gameweek 1. The Gunners supporters started calling for head coach Wenger’s head, but they will be disappointed with the board’s decision to hand him a new contract. Truth to be told, Arsenal have no realistic chance of winning the title. Their only chance will be to meet the usual fourth placed finish. Touching injury news: right back Hector Bellerin is a doubt for this match, whilst Aaron Ramsey and Santi Cazorla are both sidelined too. Granit Xhaka is serving his usual suspension.

The Tigers are a much improved team since the appointment of the new head coach Marco Silva. Hull City produced a solid performance against Liverpool in the most recent league fixture to earn a 2-0 victory. The most noticible part was their solid work at the defence, which gave Liverpool no clear cut chance through out the whole game. The morale will be high at the Hull City camp. They have now earned points against two Premier League giants. It was a goalless stalemate at Old Trafford to start with, which was complimented by a comfortable victory at home stadium against Liverpool. Curtis Davies, Michael Dawson, Greg Luer, Markus Henriksen, and Brian Lenihan are all doubtful for this match, whilst Ryan Mason, Will Keane, and Moses Odubajo remain on the long-term absentee list.
